The Board discussed the purposes of such an agency and what its composition should be and suggested that five additional' names sho be submitted for their consideration. Mr. Coates also presented the draft of a letter to be sent to the Capital Health Systems Agency for financial assistance. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the following resolution: BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee: Section 1. That there is hereby created a commission to be known as the YOUTH SERVICES COMMISSION OF LEE COUNTY. Section 2. The Youth Services Commission shall be appointed by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County and shall consist of twenty one members. One of the twenty one will be members of the Board of Commissioners who will serve for a one year term except that if his term as a County Comm- issioner shall expire his appointment to this Commission shall expire simultaneously. One member shall be the President of the Student Government Association of Lee Senior High, or its successor institution and the President's term on this Commission shall be contemporaneous concomitant with his term in office. The other original appointments shall be for terms as follows: five for terms expiring December 31, 1978; five for terms expiring December 31, 1979; four for terms expiring December 31, 1980; and five for terms expiring December 31, 1981. Thereafter, appointments of the Youth Services Commission shall be made in the month of December in the year in which the term of appointment expires, and shall be effective on January 1st of the following year, and the terms of office shall be four years each. All appointments shall be for the term stated or until their successors are appointed and qualify for office. Appointments to fill vacancies shall be made by the Board of Commissioners for the remainder. of the term of office. Original members who receive an appoint- ment for less than four years shall be eligible for reappointment for two consecutive terms of four years duration, otherwise, no member shall be eligible to serve more than two consecutive terms except the County Commissioner- appointee. Section 3. The Youth Services Commission shall annually elect from its membership a Chairman and such other officers as it may deem necessary for the orderly procedure of its business. Section 4. The Youth Services Commission shall have power to employ and designate a Youth Services Coordinator . Section 5. The Youth Services Commission shall make full and complete reports to the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee at such times as may be requested and directed by the Board of Commissioners. Section 6. The following persons are appointed to the Youth Services Commission for the terms indicated:
