Rhyne moved the adoption of the resolution <br />and Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker seconded the motion. Upon a roll call <br />vote, Messrs. Dotterer, Rhyne, Franklin D. Wicker, Gordon A. Wicker and <br />William H. Cooper all voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />Mr. Buchanan then presented for the Board's consideration, a <br />resolution concerning the winterization of Lee County Office Building. The <br />resolution reads as follows: <br />WHEREAS, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR LEE COUNTY has determined it to be to the best <br />interest of the citizens of Lee County to develop a <br />winterization program for the LEE COUNTY OFFICE <br />BUILDING, also known as the WILRIK BUILDING; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, LEE COUNTY has applied to <br />the DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION (EDA) for a <br />winterization program grant; and <br />WHEREAS, THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />ADMINISTRATION (EDA) has offered a grant of thirty <br />two thousand dollars ($32, 000. 00); <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br />BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE <br />COUNTY to accept the grant offer of thirty two <br />thousand dollars ($32, 000. 00) and authorize the <br />Chairman, William H. Cooper, to sign acceptance <br />of this grant; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that eight <br />thousand dollars ($8, 000. 00) previously allocated <br />by the Board of Commissioners be used as match- <br />ing funds to this grant making a total project of <br />forty thousand dollars ($40, 000. 00) for the fiscal <br />year ending June 30, 1978. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the <br />resolution and Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion. Upon <br />a roll call vote, Messrs. Dotterer, Rhyne, Franklin D. Wicker, Gordon A. <br />Wicker, and Cooper all voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />
