9 Bov 9 racy 103 4D <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR LEE COUNTY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That there is hereby created a <br />Site Selection and Study Committee in Lee County. <br />Section 2. That the Site Selection and Study <br />Committee shalla be composed of not less than six (6) <br />and not more than ten (10) members to be selected from <br />representatives of the City of Sanford government, Lee <br />County government, the Sanford Chamber of Commerce <br />and citizens of Lee County, including minority groups. <br />Section 3. That the Site Selection and Study <br />Committee shall be appointed to serve at the pleasure <br />of the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS. <br />Section 4. That the Site Selection and Study <br />Committee shall organize and select among its member- <br />ship a Chairman and Vice-Chairman, and any other <br />officers deemed necessary. <br />Section 5. The following persons are appointed <br />as the Site Selection and Study Committee: <br />Rex McLeod, City of Sanford <br />Clyde J. Rhyne, Lee County <br />Hal T. Siler,.Chamber of Commerce <br />Bill Huggins, Chamber of Commerce, Industrial <br />Committee <br />Dr. J. F. Hockaday, Chamber of Commerce, <br />Industrial Committee <br />Benjamin Bullock, Lee County Schools <br />R. "Pat" Geer, .Merchants Association <br />O. T. Foushee, Industry <br />Harold Stewart, Industry <br />ADVISORY MEMBERS: <br />Elwin J. Buchanan, Lee County <br />Harold McNeil, City of Sanford <br />O. B. Stokes, City of Sanford <br />Section 6. That the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR LEE COUNTY is hereby authorized to appoint the <br />members to serve for the term of the duration of the Technical <br />Assistance and Industrial Park Feasibility Study. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD <br />OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY to create this Site <br />Selection and Study Committee and authorize the Chairman, <br />William H. Cooper, to sign this resolution. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer ingttired whether or not any of <br />these persons or any of their relatives had any financial interest in any property <br />under consideration. Upon being assured that as far as any one knew such was <br />not the case, Commissioner Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote, the <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />
