Boor 9 .u 16®4 <br />RESOLUTIONT <br />WHEREAS, E. M. UNDERWOOD, JR., a Certified Public <br />Accountant, with the firm of JOHN C. MUSE COMPANY, has retired from the <br />practice of his profession; and <br />WHEREAS, during his practice he served as supervisor of audit <br />and as financial advisor to Lee County for a period of 44 years; and <br />WHEREAS, in said capacity he has provided guidance, advice, <br />and assistance to all of the public officials he served and through them to the <br />people of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, E. M. UNDERWOOD, JR., more affectionately known <br />to his friends as "RONY" is by nature a warm and friendly person, with an engaging <br />personality and his service has always been rendered in a cooperative and construct- <br />ive manner so that he has been accepted and respected as a member of the official <br />family of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for Lee County, desires to <br />record its appreciation for the dedicated and loyal services rendered by E. M. <br />UNDERWOOD, JR. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY: <br />Section 1. The members of the Board of Commissioners of Lee <br />County, unite in expressing for the County of Lee, its deep and sincere appreciation <br />to E. M. UNDERWOOD, JR., for his many years of dedicated service to its <br />government. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall be-incorporated in the permanent <br />records of the Board of Commissioners of Lee County, as a tribute and expression <br />of respect to E. M. UNDERWOOD, JR:-,'and a copy thereof shall be furnished to <br />him. <br />
