BOOT! 9 PAGE2 16 <br />RELOCATION <br />THIS IS NOT A INFORMATION STATEMENT <br />NOTICE TOMOVi <br />FOR <br />FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS <br />DO NOT MOVE WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING YOUR RELOCATION AGENT <br />THIS IS NOT A <br />NOTICE TO MOVE <br />This is a statement to future displacees of the Project No. B-75-DN-37-0009 <br />and 3-76-DN-37-0023 informing the citizens of their relocation responsibil- <br />ities, rights, and benefits. You are cautioned not to move from the <br />property you now occupy without contacting a Relocation Agent in order to <br />prevent loss of eligibility for certain relocation payments and assistance. <br />The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is cooperating with <br />the Lee.County Community Development Department in order to create a better <br />environment for all the citizens of your community. In that you are being <br />displaced as a result of the project, you will be given priority to all <br />public housing, professional assistance to make your move successful, and <br />relocation payments to insure a successful move. <br />After each property has been acquired, the occupant will be notified and <br />will be given at least a Ninety (90) day notice to move from the acquired <br />property.' The staff of the Lee County Community Development Department <br />will begin to assist families and individuals to find a dwelling that is <br />of standard quality and which they can afford as soon as their property is <br />acquired. <br />The first activity that will be carried out under the Community Development <br />Department will be the purchase of properties. After each property has <br />been acquired, the occupant will be notified and will be given at least a <br />7ir.•ety (90) day notice to move from the acquired property. The staff of <br />the Lee County Community Development Department will begin to assist families <br />and individuals to find a dwelling that is of standard quality and which <br />tney can yfford as soon as their property is acquired. <br />4 <br />For a family or individual to more from an area in which they have lived <br />for many pears is a painful experience. It is our sincere wish to 'rake <br />your move as convenient as possible. Through the Community Development <br />Department we will be able to offer personal assistance as well as certain <br />financial assistance in connection with your move. <br />i <br />r <br />The personal assistance that the Lee County Community Development Depart- <br />ment staff will furnish you i most important. Our office will have a <br />staff of trained p oplu to woirc you in finding standard housing that <br />you can afford. Our staff will maintain a list of standard vacant homes <br />anc a'par title ntS available in the iC:imT lnltl' and will make every effort to <br />see to it;that you have an opportunity to see such homes and apartments in <br />areas of the community F,\i":.'°re you would like to live.
