The county commissioners shall se- <br />cure from all subdividers a letter in which said subdivider <br />shall agree to maintain the backfill and any improvements <br />located thereon and therein and any ditch which has been <br />dug in connection with the installation of such improvements. <br />Such letter shall be binding on the subdivider for a period <br />of one year after the acceptance of such improvements by <br />the county. <br />d. Final Plat Review Contingent Upon Execution of Guarantees. <br />No final-plat will be accepted for review by the planning <br />board or the county commissioners unless accompanied by <br />written notice by the building inspector acknowledging <br />compliance with this ordinance. <br />e. The Final Plat. The final plat shall constitute only that <br />portion of the preliminary plat which the subdivider pro- <br />poses to record and develop at the time; such portion shall <br />conform to all requirements of this ordinance. <br />1) No final plat shall be approved unless and until the <br />subdivider shall have installed in that area repre- <br />sented on the final plat all improvements required <br />by this ordinance or shall have guaranteed their in- <br />stallation as provided for in a, b, and c hereof. <br />f; Plat Submitted. The subdivider shall submit the final plat, <br />so marked, to the building inspector or his designee not <br />less than fourteen (14) days prior to the planning board <br />meeting, at which it will be considered for approval; fur- <br />ther, the plat shall be submitted not more than twelve <br />(12) months after the date on which the preliminary plat <br />was approved, otherwise such approval shall be null and <br />void unless a written extension of this time limit is <br />granted by the planning board on or before the one-year <br />anniversary of the approval. <br />g, Plat Prepared. The final plat shall be prepared by a sur- <br />veyor licensed and registered to <br />practice in the State of North Carolina. The final plat <br />shall substantially conform to the preliminary plat as it <br />was approved. The final plat shall conform to the provisions <br />of Section 47-30 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. <br />h. Number of Copies and Graphic Media. Five (5) copies of the <br />final plat shall be submitted; two (2) of these shall be <br />-20- <br />
