® f P Q':,F® <br />WHEREAS, the attached petition has been filed <br />with the Board of County Commissioners of the County of <br />Lee, requesting that the above described road, the <br />location of which has been indicated in red on the attached <br />map, be added to the Secondary Road System; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners <br />is of the opinion that the above described road should be <br />added to the Secondary Road System, if the road meets <br />minimum standards and criteria established by the Division of <br />Highways of the Department of Transportation and Highway <br />Safety for the addition of roads to the System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of the County of Lee, that the Division <br />of Highways is hereby requested to review the above described <br />road, and to take over the road for maintenance if it meets <br />established standards and criteria. <br />Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne seconded the motion and upon a vote, <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mrs. Frances Warner, Postmaster at Lemon Springs, appeared <br />before the Board and requested the Board of County Commissioners to authorize <br />the issuance of a letter concurring that if the present postal facility in the village <br />of Lemon Springs cannot be expanded that a location within one-fourth to one-half <br />of a mile of the present location would be acceptable. Commissioner Clyde J. <br />Rhyne moved that the Board authorize the Chairman to issue such a letter for and <br />on behalf of the County. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Chairman Harmon, at this time, made his appointments as to which <br />activities would be supervised by which Commissioner.
