Crumpton, County Manager <br />REQUEST Award the Clyde Rhyne Drive roadway extension paving project to FSC II, <br />LLC d/b/a Fred Smith Company of Raleigh, NC, with a bid of $1,041,701.00. <br />® SUMMARY Bids were received on January 31, 2014, for the Clyde Rhyne Drive roadway <br />extension — contract 2. Four (4) bids were received. The Wooten Company <br />has examined all the bids and prepared the attached bid tabulation. The <br />apparent low bidder is FSC II, LLC d/b!a Fred Smith Company of Raleigh, <br />NC, with a bid of $1,041,701.00. The low bidder is properly licensed to <br />perform the work based on the license information obtained from the NC <br />Licensing Board for General Contractors' web site and is prequalified with <br />the North Carolina Department of Transportation to perform the type of work <br />specified in the project. The bid is also within the budget parameters of the <br />project.
