Repairs, Erwin $ 83,940 <br />Robert Strickland Construction, Lumberton 67,960 <br />Touch Construction, Sanford 68,505 <br />WSC Precision Builders, Sanford 123,335 <br />D & A Complete Construction, Shannon No Bid <br />After discussion, Commissioner Smith moved to accept the low bid from Touch Construction, <br />Sanford, in the amount of $48,990 for the 407 Wall Street project, and the low bid from Robert <br />Strickland Construction, Lumberton, in the amount of $67,960 for the 719 Courtland Drive Project. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Dalrymple <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a capital purchase approval to purchase 4 COLTS vans for Senior <br />Services. Senior Services Director Debbie Davidson stated the County of Lee Transit System (COLTS) <br />applied to the NC Department of Transportation and has received approval to purchase 4 lift equipped <br />vehicles to replace 4 vans that have reached the 110,000 mile replacement requirement as of October <br />1, 2012. This grant application was approved by Commissioners in November 2012 and is part of the <br />FY 2014 Lee County Budget. The total purchase amount is $185,372, with a 10% County match (that <br />has been allocated in the current budget). After discussion, Commissioner Frazier moved to approve <br />the capital purchase request in the amount of $185,372 as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Dalrymple <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Budget Amendment # 12116113106. Finance Director Lisa Minter <br />presented referenced Budget Amendment that appropriates the following funds: <br />Senior Services - $2,814 in additional funds received from Health Promotion <br />and Disease prevention Grant as well as $1,739 in additional funds received <br />from SHIIP Outreach Grant. <br />Other — transferred funds between various departments to cover unemployment <br />costs. <br />3 <br />
