AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />OF LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from The Village of <br />Cumnock, LLC (Case #2013 -0801) to rezone two tracts of land that totals of 53.63± acres and <br />identified as Lee County Tax Parcels 9625 -93- 7261 -00 and 9635 -02- 2844 -00 from Residential <br />Restricted (RR) district to Multi - Family 12 (MF -12) district; and <br />WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Lee County Planning Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on August 19, <br />2013 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map of Lee County, North Carolina; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS: <br />The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone 53.63± acres of land identified as Lee <br />County Tax Parcels 9625 -93- 7261 -00 and 9635 -02- 2844 -00 from Residential Restricted (RR) <br />district to Multi - Family 12 (NE-12) district. The property is also the same as that property <br />shown on survey maps recorded in Plat Cabinet 9, Slide 39F and Plat Cabinet 10, Slide 33C, Lee <br />County Registry of Deeds.
